Place the pear slices and lemon juice in a medium bowl
Mix well to prevent discoloration
Add the Karo and ginger, and mix thoroughly
Blend in a blender or food processor until smooth
Pour into a square mold and place in the freezer, covered with plastic wrap, until firm (about 3 hours)
Remove from the mold and place in a bowl
Beat with an electric mixer at high speed until smooth but not melted
Place back in the mold, cover, and return to the freezer until firm
Portion into 4 serving sizes of 1/2 cup each, with approximately 63 calories per serving
