1/2 cup of sugar
4 egg yolks
1 envelope of unflavored gelatin
1 cup of hot milk
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1/2 cup of orange liqueur (Curaçao, Grand Marnier or Cointreau)
1 tablespoon of grated lemon zest
4 egg whites beaten until stiff
1/2 cup of sugar
4 egg yolks
1 envelope of unflavored gelatin
1 cup of hot milk
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1/2 cup of orange liqueur (Curaçao, Grand Marnier or Cointreau)
1 tablespoon of grated lemon zest
4 egg whites beaten until stiff
Beat the egg yolks with sugar thoroughly until light and pale yellow
Add the gelatin and beat again until well combined
Add hot milk and beat to dissolve the gelatin
Add grated lemon zest, lemon juice, and orange liqueur
Mix well
Refrigerate
When creamy, add beaten egg whites and mix carefully
Serve in individual cups or a large bowl
Garnish with grated lemon zest
Refrigerate until serving time
