6 stalks of green corn
8 1/3 cups of milk (2 liters)
3 1/2 cups of water
1 cup of sugar

Remove the husks from the green corn by cutting them with a knife
Add the kernels to a blender along with 4 cups of milk and 1/2 cup of water
Blend until smooth
Strain through a sieve and pour into a pot
Add sugar and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly for 30 minutes or until thickened
Let cool, then blend again in the blender with any remaining milk and water
Serve chilled
