1 1/3 cups whole milk

60g bittersweet chocolate, finely grated

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Combine the milk, sugar, and chocolate in a double boiler
When the chocolate is melted, add the salt and vanilla extract
Beat well
Add the eggs and beat (preferably with an electric mixer) for 2 minutes
Cover and cook in a water bath for 40 minutes
Check that there is enough water in the bottom pan, as it should not be stirred or lifted during cooking
Serve warm or chilled
Divide into 4 portions.
