1 cup of breadcrumbs
2 spoons (of soup) of melted butter
1/2 cup of wheat flour
1 spoon (of tea) of salt
1 pinch of pepper
1/3 cup of melted butter or margarine
2 cups of milk
2 cups of cooked fish and diced (preferably cod)
4 eggs
4 egg whites
1 cup of breadcrumbs

2 cups of cooked fish and diced (preferably cod)

Mix the breadcrumbs and melted butter
Dust half of the mixture onto the bottom and sides of a square shape approximately 22 x 22 x 5 cm, very well greased
Reserve the remaining mixture
Mix the flour, salt, and pepper
Melt the butter or margarine over low heat, then add the dry ingredients
Mix well
Gradually add the milk, cooking while it thickens
Add the cooked fish (cooked in water or even fried in butter)
Add a little of the warm mixture to the beaten eggs, then add them to the fish mixture
Beat the egg whites until fluffy and add to the warm mixture
Place in the prepared mold
Sprinkle with the remaining breadcrumb mixture mixed with melted butter
Bake in a moderate oven for 50 minutes
Serve immediately
