Grind the peanuts or blend them in a food processor to a fine texture
Beat the egg whites until stiff and fluffy, but not dry
Gradually add the sugar while continuously beating
Add the vanilla extract, salt, and peanuts, mixing well
Drop by spoonfuls onto paper that is not greased
Bake in a slow oven at 40 to 60 minutes
You will get approximately 2 batches of peanut whispers (if these peanut whispers dry well during baking and are stored in an airtight container, they can be kept for a long time).
