1 cup all-purpose flour

240g firm tofu cut into 4 slices of 1cm thickness

Camarão Refogado (Shrimp Cooked in Garlic)

2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
2 tablespoons chopped red bell pepper

500g medium-sized shrimp, cleaned and deveined
2 tomato halves, peeled and seeded, diced
1 medium-sized onion, diced

Camarão Refogado (Shrimp Cooked in Garlic)
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
2 tablespoons chopped red bell pepper

500g medium-sized shrimp, cleaned and deveined
2 tomato halves, peeled and seeded, diced
1 medium-sized onion, diced
Compress the cayenne pepper into slices of tofu
Place them side by side in a long container and, alongside, put the shrimp
Mix together lime juice, cilantro, water, and salt
Drizzle the sauce over the tofu and shrimp and let it rest for 30 minutes
Dust the tofu slices with flour, then dip them in egg whites, and finally coat them with flour again
Fry them in vegetable oil at medium heat for 2 minutes or until golden brown on both sides
Reserve them in a low-temperature oven to prevent cooling down
Camarão Refogado (Shrimp Cooked in Garlic)
Cook the onion and tomato in vegetable oil for 3 minutes or until they become translucent
Add cayenne pepper, salt, and cooked shrimp
Cook for an additional 4 minutes or until the shrimp becomes tender
To serve, place a slice of tofu and top it with a portion of the Shrimp Cooked in Garlic
Dust with chopped fresh parsley
