Wash and dry the tomatoes
Cut a small lid on each tomato and carefully remove the pulp
Season the inside of the tomatoes with salt and pepper
Beat the eggs and mix in diced ham, cheese, and small onion pieces
Add green onion to taste and season with salt and pepper
Stuff the tomatoes with this mixture and place them in a buttered baking dish
Bake at moderate heat for about 10 minutes
Melt the butter and warm up the peas
Arrange the peas on a serving tray and top with the baked tomatoes
Serve with butter-cooked macaroni, if desired
