4 cups of ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
Juice and zest of 1 lemon, and 3 tablespoons of orange liqueur or your preferred flavor
1/2 cup of Karo syrup
4 large egg whites
1 cup of all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons of cornstarch
2 tablespoons of wheat flour
1 teaspoon of active dry yeast
Crispy
1 package of integral cracker crumbs, crushed
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
4 cups of ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter

1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
Divide the all-purpose flour into two parts
Combine one part with whipped egg whites and the other part with the remaining ingredients
Caramelize the crackers with the all-purpose flour until the mixture is well golden brown
Spread half of this mixture into a greased rectangular baking dish
Place the ricotta cheese mixed with the whipped egg whites on top, then cover with the remaining crumb mixture
Bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes
After cooling, dust with confectioner's sugar.
