4 ripe bananas
12 slices of bread and butter
2 eggs
2 cups (scant) of milk
6 tablespoons of sugar
Cinnamon to taste

Beat the eggs and add milk
Beat again and reserve
Mix sugar with cinnamon to taste and reserve
Cover the bottom of a greased baking dish with half the bread slices
Soak with half the milk and dust with half the sugar
Arrange sliced bananas over the bread and dust with the remaining sugar and cinnamon
Add another layer of bread, soak with the remaining milk, and dust with the remaining sugar and cinnamon
Bake in a medium oven until golden brown
Serve warm or chilled
