Cut the fruit into slices, without seeds, and cook with sugar and canela over low heat
Add two cups of water and cook until a syrup forms
Strain the syrup and reserve
Dough:
Beat the yolks with sugar and butter
Add flour sifted with baking powder, milk, and egg whites
Pour the dough into a cake pan with a false bottom
Top with fruit
Put the cake in the oven until it's done
Heat the syrup in a saucepan, add cornstarch and cook until thickened
Cover the warm cake.
