3 medium onions, thinly sliced (450g)
3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
2 cups of yogurt (480g)
2 eggs, beaten lightly
salt and black pepper to taste
1 package of frozen puff pastry (400g)

Fry the onions slowly in the butter or margarine until they are golden brown
Remove from heat
Add the yogurt, eggs, salt, and black pepper
Let cool
Line a 25cm diameter round cake pan with the puff pastry
Fill with the onion mixture and dust with pastry
Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for about 10 minutes
Reduce the oven temperature to 200°C and bake for an additional 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean
Serve 8 portions.
