Soak the rose petals in water for 1 hour
Beat the eggs in a blender for 10 seconds
Add sugar and beat for an additional 30 seconds
Add the soaked rose petals with their liquid and beat for an additional 10 seconds
Combine buttermilk, vanilla, and beat for an additional 10 seconds
Pour into cake mix and bake in a moderate oven (170°C) for approximately 45 minutes, until the center is firm.
