3 large egg whites
1 cup (ch) of sugar
1/2 cup (ch) of water
1 can of half-and-half whipped cream
1 cup (ch) of chopped cherries
1/2 cup (ch) of raisins
1 cup (ch) of toasted and ground almonds
Custard
200g of dark chocolate chips
2 tablespoons of sugar
1/4 cup (ch) of butter, melted
1/2 cup (ch) of milk
3 large egg whites
1 cup (ch) of sugar
1/2 cup (ch) of water
1 can of half-and-half whipped cream
1 cup (ch) of chopped cherries
1/2 cup (ch) of raisins
1 cup (ch) of toasted and ground almonds
Custard
200g of dark chocolate chips
2 tablespoons of sugar
1/4 cup (ch) of butter, melted
1/2 cup (ch) of milk
Mix the sugar with water and bring to a boil until it forms a custard-like consistency
While that's happening, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form
When the custard is ready, pour it slowly into the whipped eggs while still whipping, forming a marshmallow-like texture
Remove from the mixer and add the half-and-half whipped cream, chopped cherries, raisins, and toasted almonds
Mix everything together delicately and pour into an English-style loaf pan lined with plastic wrap
Smooth out the top with a knife and refrigerate for six hours
Make the custard: mix all ingredients and cook over low heat until smooth
Unmold and decorate with the custard.
