In a 6-quart saucepan, place the sweet potatoes and cover
Bring to a boil and cook until tender (about 15 minutes)
Drain the sweet potatoes and pass them through a food mill over a small bowl
Add the chocolate liqueur, sugar, and cocoa powder and mix well
Use half of this mixture to form a small mound on a serving plate
Repeat with the remaining mixture
Cover carefully with plastic wrap and refrigerate
In a stand mixer, beat the heavy cream with the remaining sugar until stiff peaks form (about 2 minutes)
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate
When ready to serve, place the whipped cream over the sweet potato mound
Surround with marshmallows
