Dough:
150 g of wheat flour
80 g of finely ground pecan nuts
1 spoonful of vanilla extract
80 g of butter or margarine
Filling:
2 spoonsful of gelatin
1 small can of fruit in syrup, or pineapple rings
strawberries in syrup
To decorate:
60 g of confectioner's sugar
a little rum
Dough:

Mix the sifted flour with the ground pecan nuts and vanilla extract
Add the butter to the dough pieces
Knead all the ingredients together until a smooth dough forms
Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface
Leave the dough thin
Cut into rings, doubling them over to form cylinders about 6-7 cm in diameter
Bake in a moderate oven preheated oven for about 15 minutes
Let cool
Spread gelatin over each ring
Wrap with an apron
Spread more gelatin on the edge and wrap with another apron
Fill with fruit pieces, pineapple rings, and a strawberry in syrup
Mix confectioner's sugar with rum and spread along the edge of the apron.
