Half pound of green beans
Fervent water
A half teaspoon of salt
Quarter cup of butter or margarine
Quarter cup of finely chopped onion
Two tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
To taste, salt and pepper

Fervent water

Wash the green beans
Dry them
Clean and cut into fine strips
Place the green beans in a medium saucepan
Add fervent water until it reaches 2.5 cm deep
Add a half teaspoon of salt
Cook covered for 15 to 20 minutes
Dry
In the same saucepan, heat the butter and sauté onion until golden brown
Uncover and simmer for five minutes
Add the drained green beans and remaining ingredients
Heat through
Serve in quarters
