Peel the avocado, remove the pit, and mash the flesh with a wooden spoon
Heat the chicken broth, then let it cool and mix it with the avocado
Blend in a food processor or blender
Pour into a bowl and add heavy cream, lime juice, salt, and black pepper to taste
Cover and refrigerate
Serve chilled
