Cook the cleaned and chopped green beans
Drain and place in a shallow baking dish
Melt half of the butter, add the flour and mix well
Add salt, pepper, and white sauce mix
Add milk and cook, stirring until thickened
Pour over the green beans
Top with the remaining butter, cut into small pieces
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
Bake in a moderate oven for 15 minutes or until hot and golden brown, serving 6 portions.
