1 1/2 cups of coarsely ground green corn, straight from the cob
3 slightly beaten eggs
3 cups of all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons of active dry yeast
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
2 1/4 cups of milk
3 tablespoons of melted and cooled butter

Mix the green corn with the eggs in a large bowl
Sift together the flour, yeast, salt, and butter in another bowl
In a third bowl, combine the milk and melted butter
Mix well
Gradually add the green corn mixture to the dry ingredients, alternating between the two mixtures until all is used up
Use 1/3 cup of batter for each waffle and cook until golden brown
Makes approximately 15 waffles.
