For the dough
4 eggs
200g all-purpose flour
200g butter or margarine
3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour - 400g
3 2/3 cups cornstarch - 400g
4 tablespoons baking powder

Cooked condensed milk or softened guava
For the topping
Confectioner's sugar or chocolate for topping

Prepare
Beat the eggs
Add the flour and margarine
Beat well to form a pale yellow cream
In a bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, and baking powder
Gradually add this mixture to the egg cream, beating always
Roll out the dough on a smooth surface dusted with all-purpose flour
Cut the dough into circles approximately 7cm in diameter or with a glass cup
Arrange the cookies in a greased and floured baking dish
Bake in a preheated oven (220°C) for about 10 minutes, or until the dough is lightly golden
Once cooled, sandwich the biscuits, two by two, with one of the fillings
Dust with confectioner's sugar or melted chocolate
Make approximately 25 alfajores.
