In a saucepan, combine the sugar, milk, and lemon juice

Reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for about 10 minutes or until the milk rises almost to the top
Add the beaten eggs, reduce the heat to low, and cook without stirring until the eggs become firm and rise to the surface (about 3 minutes)
Cook, stirring carefully from time to time, until the mixture reaches a chopped consistency (about 15 minutes)
Add the lime zest and stir
Pour into a serving dish, let it cool, and serve.
