These rolmops typically come with liquid and packaged in plastic bags
Mix the liquid with finely chopped onion, vinegar, salt, and a pinch of pepper
Add 1/2 cup of water and bring to a boil
Remove from heat, stir in heavy cream, and mix well
To serve, arrange the herring fillets on a platter and spread the cream on top (If the rolmops come wrapped in pickles, use them, finely chopped and mixed with the heavy cream)
