1/4 cup of olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 cups of rice
3 1/2 cups of boiling water
Salt to taste

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat
Make sure it's well heated and add the garlic
Fry until golden brown
Add the rice and stir well
Simmer at the bottom of the pan, without stirring, for about 20 minutes, or until the rice is soft, yet firm and separate
Add the boiling water and season with salt
Let it simmer, then turn off the heat and let it rest
