2/3 cup of uncooked rice
two tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups of boiling water
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
one beef bouillon cube or chicken broth
half teaspoon of pepper sauce
one medium-sized onion, diced
2 stalks of celery, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 1/2 cup of cooked beef, cut into small cubes
2/3 cup of uncooked rice

Fry the rice in hot oil over medium heat until golden brown
Add salt, water, bouillon cube, and pepper sauce
Cover and let cook slowly for 20 minutes
Add remaining ingredients
Tighten lid and cook slowly for another 10 minutes (if needed, add a little more water)
All liquid should be absorbed by the end of cooking
If not, remove lid and let excess liquid evaporate
Serve in two large portions
