1 cup of uncooked rice

3 cups of chicken broth or boiling water
2 tablespoons of fresh thyme, chopped
2 tablespoons of dried oregano, chopped
2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon of salt

Fry the onion in butter until golden brown
Add the rice and cook until lightly toasted
Add salt, chicken broth or boiling water, thyme, oregano, and parsley
Cook over low heat until the rice is cooked and has absorbed all the liquid.
