1 kg of cleaned squid cut into 1 cm pieces

In a large skillet, sauté the garlic and onion in oil over medium heat until tender
Add the bell pepper and continue to cook for a few more minutes
Combine the rice and cook, stirring occasionally, until it starts to brown
Add the squid and cook for an additional 5 minutes
Add the water
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper sauce as needed
Mix well, cover, and simmer over low heat, adding more water if necessary, for about 25 minutes or until the rice is al dente
Combine the sauce and stir delicately
Serve immediately.
