Mix the rice with the milk and let it cook over low heat for 30 minutes, or until the rice is soft
Remove from heat
Add the vanilla extract, sugar, 1/4 cup of milk, and mix well
Let it cool and refrigerate until cold
Prepare the gelatin according to the package instructions, place in a flat dish or baking pan and refrigerate until firm
To serve, mix the heavy cream with the rice and place in dishes, alternating the rice with cubed gelatin
