1 1/2 cup white bean (300 g)
1/4 cup olive oil (60 ml)
2 medium onions (200 g), chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
6 medium tomatoes (720 g), chopped
3 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
1 red bell pepper, medium (130 g), chopped
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
Pepper sauce to taste
1 kg fresh tuna, cut into 2 cm cubes

In a large pot, cook the white bean in 8 cups of water (1.9l) over low heat with the lid on until it's tender but still firm
Drain and reserve
In a medium pot with olive oil, combine all the remaining ingredients except for the tuna and cook over high heat until the tomato is tender (around 10 minutes)
Add the tuna and simmer, stirring constantly, until it can be easily parted with a fork (around 9 minutes)
Add the white bean and mix
Check the seasoning and adjust if necessary
Serve immediately
