1 basic recipe for babá dough
For the filling:
2 cups of water
1 cup of milk
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
2/3 cup of dark rum
For the stuffing:
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
3 large custard apples, peeled and cored, cut into 2 cm cubes
2 tablespoons of milk
1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Prepare the babá dough according to the basic recipe
For the filling: bring the water, milk, and lemon juice to a boil over medium heat and cook for about 15 minutes until it thickens slightly
Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and add the rum
Soak the babá in this filling to absorb it well
For the stuffing: melt the butter and cook the custard apples until they're soft but not browned
Add the milk and lemon juice and let cool
Place in the center of the babá
Serve at room temperature.
