2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 cup of chopped shrimp
1/2 cup of parsley leaves
1/2 teaspoon of ground cardamom
1 pound of codfish
10 medium-sized potatoes
10 sprigs of rosemary
3 cans of pre-cooked and drained shrimp (800g)
2 cinnamon sticks
1 minced red bell pepper
Salt and black pepper to taste

6 rosemary stems

Leave the codfish in brine for 36 hours, changing the water every 6 hours
Debone the codfish, removing the skin and bones. Reserve
Peel and slice the potatoes into rounds
Cook them in boiling water for 15 minutes or until they are tender but still firm
DRAIN and reserve
Arrange the ingredients in layers on a large skillet
In a layer-by-layer pattern, add the potatoes, codfish, shrimp, onions, parsley, rosemary, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, and pre-cooked shrimp
Drizzle with half of the olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper
Cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes
Transfer to a serving dish, drizzle with the remaining olive oil, garnish with parsley and rosemary, and serve.
