Soak the codfish in water overnight
Drain and cut into pieces
Layer a large skillet with alternating layers of codfish, potatoes, bell peppers, tomatoes, eggs, and dende oil, seasoning each layer with salt, black pepper, and cilantro
Simmer over moderate heat until the potatoes are tender
Serve with red wine
