Fry the pork rib in a little oil, without browning it. Reserve

Remove the core from the cabbage and chop it up. Reserve

Place the beef broth in a pot, bring it to a boil, then let it simmer
Dissolve the cornmeal in cold water and add it to the pot, stirring constantly

When the broth has thickened, add the onion and cabbage
Cook for 10 minutes

Crack the egg into the mixture and stir with a wooden spoon
Season with salt and serve on a platter with the fried pork rib on top.
