4 large ripe bananas, peeled and cut in half lengthwise

Preheat the oven to moderate temperature (170°F)
In a bowl, whisk together the wine, brown sugar, rosewater jelly, melted butter, and lime juice
Mix well
In a non-stick baking dish, arrange the banana halves in a single layer with the cut side facing down
Pour the wine mixture over the bananas
Bake for 30 minutes or until the bananas are tender
Serve immediately in the same baking dish
Cut into 4 portions
