Mix well in a bowl the crushed graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter or margarine
Spread the mixture evenly onto a 29.5 x 21 cm baking dish and press down firmly
Bake in a moderate temperature oven (170°C) for 10 minutes
Mix in a bowl the shredded coconut with the sweetened condensed milk
Spread over the baked graham cracker layer
Bake again in a moderate temperature oven for an additional 15 minutes
Allow to cool in the pan
Melt in a saucepan over simmering water, with hot water, the chocolate pieces with peanut butter paste and spread the melted chocolate mixture over the coconut mixture
Place in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens and cut into bars of 7.5 x 3 cm
Make 28 bars.
