Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly and boil them until they're tender
Cut the sweet potatoes in half and place them on a baking sheet

In a frying pan, sauté the garlic in olive oil until golden brown

In a saucepan, mix together the cooked garlic, olive oil, balsamic glaze, salt, pepper, and thyme
Serve the mixture over the still warm sweet potatoes.
