1 kg small potatoes
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

Place the potatoes in a pot
Cover with cold water
Bring to a boil and let simmer for 6-8 minutes (until cooked, but still firm)
Drain
Peel and return to the pot, bring to a simmer to dry thoroughly
Add butter or margarine and chives, stirring until butter is melted and potatoes well coated with butter and chives
Serves 8 people.
