3/4 cup dark chocolate
6 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine
2 1/2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin
1 liter whole milk

Combine the dark chocolate with the butter or margarine in a saucepan
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly
When the butter has melted, increase the heat and be attentive: it should darken slightly
Cook for about 8 minutes
Add the gelatin to the milk, whisk until dissolved
Combine the milk with the caramel and whisk until the chocolate has fully melted
Let it cool until it starts to thicken
Beat in a mixer for about 5 minutes
Pour into a bowl and refrigerate
Do not unmold before serving
Serves 4-6.
