Beat the butter with the sugar and eggs
Add sifted all-purpose flour
Mix well
Roll out thinly and cut into desired shapes
Place on an ungreased baking sheet
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for 10 minutes or until lightly golden
These shortbread cookies can be stored in sealed containers for up to 4 days.
