1 cup of nuts (can use pecans or hazelnuts) chopped

Mix all the ingredients (except for sugar) with vanilla and knead quickly until a smooth dough forms
Shape into small crescent shapes using 1 tablespoon of dough
(They should be approximately 3 1/2 cm long)
Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake in a moderate oven for 15-17 minutes or until lightly golden
Let cool for 1 minute while still warm, then roll in sugar mixed with a little vanilla
Let cool completely and roll again in sugar
Yield about 70 cookies.
