Mix all ingredients well with your hands
If desired, you can add 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Shape the dough into a long and smooth roll
Wrap in parchment paper and refrigerate for several hours until firm (various hours)
Bake the oven
With a sharp knife, cut the dough into very thin slices
Place these on an ungreased baking sheet leaving a small space between the cookies
Bake for about 6 minutes or until lightly golden brown
