Heat two-thirds cup of whole milk
Let it cool until lukewarm
Add yeast and salt
Beat butter with sugar
Add egg yolks one at a time, mixing well
Add flour alternately with the yeast mixture and knead well
Let it rise for 45 minutes
Roll out the dough thinly and cut into triangles
Mix stuffing ingredients and place a little in the center of each triangle
Roll up, starting from the larger side of the triangle
When rolled, fold the ends to resemble half-moon shapes
Place in greased baking sheet and let rise for two more hours
Beat egg whites and mix with four tablespoons of whole milk
Brush over half-moons
Bake in moderate oven for 30 minutes or until lightly golden
