Cereal
1/2 cup (ch) of unsalted butter
1/3 cup (ch) of granulated sugar
8 slices of bread without crust cut into pieces
1/4 cup (ch) of cocoa powder
Meringue
1 cup (ch) of granulated sugar
1/2 cup (ch) of water
2 tablespoons of strong coffee
3 egg whites
To decorate
Thin slices of lime zest

In a saucepan, melt the butter with the sugar
When the sugar dissolves, add the bread pieces and mix until they're golden brown on both sides
Remove from heat, then blend in a blender
Add the chocolate and blend until it forms a cereal-like mixture. Reserve
Meringue
Heat 1 cup (ch) of water with 1/4 cup (ch) of unsalted butter to a boil
Dissolve the coffee in 1/4 cup (ch) of water
Add the coffee to the boiling water and cook until it reaches a fine thread consistency
In a mixer, beat the egg whites until they're stiff and snowy
Add the coffee mixture to the beaten egg whites, beating until stiff peaks form
Separate the cereal into two parts
Distribute one part onto plates and top with a layer of meringue
Cover with the remaining cereal
Serve immediately.
