2/3 of a package of butter (130 g)
170 g of pork lard (approximately 11 tablespoons)
1 and 1/5 cups of sugar (180 g)
2 eggs
1 pinch of salt
250 g of fresh fubá, mimoso
2 and 1/3 cups of all-purpose flour (250 g)
margarine for greasing
100 g of guava jam

Melt the butter and lard (without toasting)
Remove from heat and let it cool
Add the sugar, eggs, salt, and mix well
Gradually add the fubá and flour, and knead with hands until the dough becomes smooth and homogeneous
Grease the baking sheet with margarine
Shape into balls of 4 cm diameter and place on the baking sheet, leaving some distance between them
Press the balls gently with the handle of a wooden spoon to form a cavity
Bake in a moderate oven preheated for approximately 25 minutes
While that's happening, chop the guava jam and melt it over low heat, stirring constantly
If necessary, add a little water
Remove the cookies from the oven and cover them with the guava jam
Let it cool and serve.
