Beat the butter with a wooden spoon
Gradually add the sugar, beating well
Add half of the flour and mix well
Add the remaining flour and knead on a floured surface
Roll out the dough thinly with a rolling pin floured with all-purpose flour, and cut into circles about 8 cm in diameter
