In a bowl, cream the butter with the flour until well combined
Add the salt and eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition
Mix until you get a smooth and even dough
Pour in the liqueur and gradually add the flour, mixing well
Knead the dough for 5 minutes
Spread the dough on a greased baking sheet dust with flour and bake in a medium oven preheated for about 20 minutes
Remove from the oven, cut into diamonds and dust the surface with cinnamon and nutmeg mixed together
Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes or until the sugar browns slightly
Serve warm.
