2 cups of wheat flour
3 tablespoons of active dry yeast
1 pinch of salt
1/2 cup of butter or margarine
1 cup of sugar
2 well-beaten eggs
2/3 cup of milk
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
2 cups of wheat flour

Sift together the yeast and salt
Beat the butter or margarine with the sugar until light and fluffy
Add the eggs and beat well
Gradually add the dry ingredients and milk, beating well after each addition
Divide the mixture into two parts and add spices and karo to one part
Grease muffin tins and alternate the two mixtures
Bake in a moderate oven for 25 minutes
Let it rest for about 1 1/2 days.
