Preheat the oven to 350°F (moderate)
Grease an 8-inch square baking dish or a 9x13-inch rectangular dish and dust with flour
Set aside
Melt the white chocolate and butter in a double boiler, without letting it boil, stirring until smooth
Remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature
In a large bowl, beat the eggs, all-purpose flour, and vanilla extract until thickened and pale yellow
Add the melted white chocolate and mix well
Set aside
In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt
Add it to the chocolate mixture and mix until smooth
Add the macadamia nuts and chocolate chips, and spread in a pan
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean
Let cool completely before cutting into squares
