1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves
2 tablespoons of grated ginger
crystallized ginger

Mix the ginger and honey
Add the softened butter or margarine and mix well
Add the egg
Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves
Sift and add to the mixture previously prepared
Let the mass rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
Form balls of a walnut size and coat with crystallized ginger
Place on an oiled baking sheet, leaving ample space between the balls
Bake at moderate temperature for 15 minutes.
