Mix the flour with butter in small pieces
Gradually add beer to obtain a workable dough that's easy to open
Roll out with a pasta machine
Brush with egg white
If needed, use one more egg white
Dust with crystal sugar
Cut into strips with a pastry wheel
Twist each strip and place in a baking dish
Bake in a moderate oven (170°C) until lightly browned
If desired, simply open the dough, cut, twist, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar after baking
The recipe can be halved.
